Mi amigo Mejor en el Preterite

Mi amigo mejor es intereso porque 'el juege basquetbol. Cuando 'el fu'i una persona freshman, 'el fue en el grupo de varsity. No obstante, 'el es muy stupido, pero 'el tuvo una GPA de 3.5. Tambien, 'el recib'o una Jeep parasu primera carro en su cumplea~n0 de 16. El Jeep es muy obnoxioso porque Hunter puso straight pipes en lugar de una muffler.

Quarter 1 Reflection

    In quarter 1 I gave up on school. I never really formed much of a work ethic when we got back from summer break which caused the whole 9 weeks to be a turmoil of procrastination and last minute work. Basically I grew in the opposite direction of success. I hope to fix this in the 2nd quarter. My goal is to stay on top of my work and learn to like school.

Los articulos dicen sobre una cosa, amigos y persona con amigos. En articulo uno, el autor es enojado porques su hijos siempre usan sus telephonos y computadoras hablar con sus amigos. En articulo dos, el autor says no tieniendo amigos es muy malo. Mas o menos, los articulos dicen cosas opuestos; articulo uno dice que siempre hablar con amigos es malo, pero articulo dos dice que tiniendo amigos es muy importante tener una vida buena.

Articulo dos dice que no tieniendo amigos es muy malo para el salud. Dice que el ausencia de amigos es como addición de drogas y alcohol. Personas con amigos tienen mas buenos vidas con no affeciones.

    Articulo uno dice que adolescentes son siempre usan sus telephonos y otros electronicos. Los hijos de el autor usan programas de el computadora hablar con sus amigos. Adolescentes no caminan o pasan tiempo en naturaleza.

This week I did my regular duolingo, but because I forgot, I only did 20 minutes on Tuesday.
I found a website called "Muy Interesante" that has articles about science:

• I read an article about a new form of propulsion in space for small satellites that splits water into hydrogen and oxygen and somehow uses combustion to work. This took me about 15 minutes to comprehend.

•  I read a shorter article about humans seeing infrared light and using infrared light to stimulate eyes. This took me 10 minutes because I had to look up a lot of words.

• I then clicked on a clickbait article about "Trumptendo," a remake of classic nes games that have trump as the villain. I read this in 5 minutes, and I played for about 20 minutes. The games are in English, but theyre still pretty fun.

This week I spent 25 minutes on Duolingo.
I watched 45 minutes if El Chavo del Ocho.
I read some Spanish fantasy football articles on the Fantasy football app for 25 minutes.
I listened to some Spanish songs on Spotify too for I think like 40 minutes.

Mis Amigos y Yo

     Mis amigos y yo hacemos muchas cosas divertidas. Emille, quien es mucha divertida y habladora, a veces va al Einsteins. De ves en cuando, yo voy al Einsteins molestar ella. Despues de colegio, mis amigos, Cade, Kevin, Will, Foster, Chloe y Carson, y yo vamanos al practico de cross country. Todos los corredores y entrenadors son grosero. A veces, despues de practico, Foster y yo vamanos al Jerrys. Tambien, Will, Cade, Carson, Kevin y yo vamos al chings para alas de pollo. Cuando nosotros no tenemos escuala, vamanos al shelby farms.

I finished the second season of Narcos **covering my eyes for the violence, duh.
      ^that was 10 episodes (10 hours)
I read a few articles about cross country too. It took me a good thirty minutes to understand them

This week I completed 30 minutes of duolingo. I mainly learned vocab.
I read some articles for my fantasy football draft for 20 minutes.
I listened to music for 30 minutes.
I also tried to watch the first episode of Gran Hotel, but after the 20 minutes I gave up; it was not for me.

Bellwork 31/8/16

Currently, I do not know my exact proficiency; however, I feel I'm doing pretty well. Writing wise, I think I am around I2 because I've gotten better at linking sentences. I do very poorly under pressure so for speaking I think I am novice high tops. For reading, I do better when there is basic vocabulary but can ha for more advance stuff after rereading it; I'd rate myself as an I1.
To improve writing, I want to study grammar and syntax by reading more things in Spanish; this will help my reading as well. For speaking, I want to work on dueling so I can be more confident in my vocabulary. This quarter I'm going to step up my Netflix game and "submerge myself in the language." (I will cover my eyes for violent scenes of course!)

The first article I read was about Maria Obama smoking the Devil's plant. The article explains that she was at Lollapalooza in Chicago with some of her friends. In a crowd at the music festival, another festival attendee filmed a video of her hitting up that good good. The video was original content and supports the climate pretty well. (Please excuse her friend's tongue).

    Carlos Saint is an F1 driver for Toro Rossi. In one lap, he advanced seven whole places. This race  had some difficulties. He tweeted tire exploded at high speeds. His car went up on two wheels and spun around.

Activity Log 8/26

This week, I have started watching Narcos, a 100% super wholesome show. I have watched half the season, or five episodes, roughly four hours in Spanish with English subtitles.
I continued to complete 15 minutes of Duolingo a day, totaling 45 minutes this week.
I also listened to some music, but do not know the names of the songs because it was on shuffle and I was too lazy to look at my phone. I'd say I listened to it for about thirty minutes.
I tried to read an article about the Grizzlies in Spanish; however, my limited attention span a newly formed addiction to Narcos put the reading to an end.

Every day this week, except for Monday, I spent fifteen minutes on duolingo refreshing myself on basic vocab.
On Thursday, I spent about twenty minutes reading Spanish articles about the Olympics and the science of specific happenings.

4*15=60 minutes+20 minutes= 1 hour 20 minutes
